Fun British pub. Pretty good food and live music is always fun on the weekends. I have been going here for a while now and really enjoy the vibe. I do like that the people that come here are from mixed groups. Service is good and efficient.

I recently visited Britannia Arms in San Jose and had a great experience. I started with a half order of chicken wings with a dry rub. They were flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. I also tried the half order of fried mushrooms, which was surprisingly generous--definitely more than one person can eat! The mushrooms were perfectly crispy and delicious. I was excited to see raw oysters on the half shell as a new menu item. The price was great, but they weren't properly cut from the adductor muscle, which made them a bit tricky to eat. One of the highlights of Britannia Arms is their extensive menu with plenty of options to choose from, and they have a fantastic happy hour too. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual meal with good food and a lively atmosphere.

British pub with surprisingly good eats! They have a large food menu and we enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was the tacos and the Reuben sandwich. The cocktails were a bit too sweet for us. They have a bar area, dining area, and outdoor patio. Service was great.

They are not your average British Pub and there is nothing wrong with that! They have such a huge drink selection in by drinks. I'm talking about your mock tails, cocktails, and beers. Their cocktails are so creative and for anyone who just wants to have a good time without a little bit of booze you are in the right spot and for those who do want a bit of booziness to their drink, definitely ask your server or bartender what the monthly cocktail specials are because they change those every month to keep you on your toes! They have some drinks that are more on the fruity side. They also have some that are more on the floral side. You just gotta be specific on what you like and want. Food did not disappoint and to be honest, I didn't know bar / pub food could taste so good, like full restaurant quality. Hot plate, fresh ingredients and oh so tasty! I will tell you this right now that their fish and chips is award-winning because of their secret ingredient which I won't expose, but it is hands-down, the best! My second favorite item is a tough one because it's actually between their shepherds pie and their appetizer sausage rolls, which is like their version of pigs in a blanket. They use a style sausage and if you've never tried it, you have to! Again, you will not be disappointed here in any department whether is drink food or entertainment. Did I mention that their outdoor patio also has TV screens available to watch any sports game of your choice? Well, I just did so don't miss out on having happy hours, birthday celebrations, or any group gatherings here because you will have an awesome time!

Been going to this place since I was young. Great food, cocktails and staff. Love the weekly entertainment too. Karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays. Great singers here. School of Rock next door and they come sing. The host on Thursday's is one of if not the best in the Bay area. Sunday night guy is just as good. Two different karaoke styles makes it fun to be at BRITANNIA ARMS for karaoke. They also have Local and nationally recognized bands and great DJ's too.

Hosted an event here and the staff was PHENOMENAL. The coordinating of the event with Julia was effortless and smooth. The staff that evening was exceptional at taking our groups food and drink orders and making sure we were well cared for. We will be back! We also had some appetizers for the event that were perfect. The fruit platter was amazing and all the fruit was sweet and perfectly ripe! That's rare for a fruit platter anywhere... Potato skins and chips and guac were delicious as well!

Came for The Office trivia- stayed for the good times. Service - friendly and efficient during this Covid time. They were spread a little thin but they did a great job. Food was decent and filling- got the grilled cheese with ham. Not oily or anything and hit the spot. Drinks were good and they had themed drinks! Very fun experience and I definitely would be back if they have another trivia night!
